In December Emirates SkyCargo became the first e-freight-compliant carrier in the Middle East. Today, it is the leading airline worldwide in terms of the number of e-freight consignments carried each week.
Emirates announced this week that their thousandth e-freight shipment was sent by Allport from Dubai to London Heathrow.
Khan Bangash, the director in charge of Allport's Dubai freight centre commented. "Allport are pleased to support Emirates SkyCargo and offer our congratulations for passing this milestone"

Khan added. "We've seen the benefits of e-freight at other Sea Air hubs - faster service, reduced cycle times, greater reliability and accuracy - and were pleased to see Dubai Customs, Emirates and other carriers promoting its use."
"We look forward to helping Emirates SkyCargo get to the next e-freight milestone."
