A Real Classic

A 1968 Bedford (TK flat-bed) truck, that the transport department at Allport Heathrow have been restoring, won 'Best in Class' in the commercial category of the British Airways Classic Vehicle show in Cranford last Sunday.

Transport manager Micky Bowditch commented. "This is the same type of vehicle I was driving for Allport when I joined the company, 37 years ago. It's just a shame that the lads couldn't restore me to my former glory!"
