Standard delivery crews have no involvement in removing consignments from the lorry.

Allport specialises in the off-loading, positioning and installation of technical, sensitive and outsize consignments.

Delivery crews, who can work in teams, have extensive product handling training and operate installation vehicles which are specially configured to ensure that even the most difficult site conditions can be overcome.

The crew will manoeuvre product by hand, with standard equipment, or specialist handling equipment, such as stair climbing robots.

Allport crews also undergo client product training so that they can conduct commissioning tasks on site, removing the need for engineers to be in attendance.
